Lemon Cream Cheese Bars

Ingredients
- 2 lemons
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 - 8 oz cream cheese bricks softened cream cheese
- 4 tablespoons unsalted melted butter
- 2 cans crescent roll dough
- 3 tablespoons sugar (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Zest one lemon and juice both lemons. Need ¼ teaspoon of zest and ¼ cup of lemon juice.
- Add zest and lemon juice, 1 cup of sugar and mix.
- Add softened cream cheese and mix.
- Grease a 9x13 pan and put one can of crescent roll dough in bottom of pan and spread evenly.
- Spread cream cheese mixture over crescent roll layer.
- Add the 2nd can of crescent roll-on top of the cream cheese layer.
- Pour melted butter over top of the top layer and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle the 3 tablespoons of sugar on top.
- Bake on 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
